Tyrrell's Honey

Tyrrell's Honey is a small, passionate family business based in Blackfordby, North-West Leicestershire. They produce all-natural, untreated, 100% raw British wildflower honey sourced entirely from their own bees. Their honey is unpasteurised, unblended, and lightly sieved straight into the jar, preserving all its natural qualities. The family takes great pride in the craft of beekeeping, recognising the extraordinary effort bees put into producing honey. In addition to honey, Tyrrell's Honey offers a range of associated gift products and sells high-quality overwintered nucleus colonies (nucs). Their nucs are built on six Langstroth frames with new foundations and are headed by locally mated Buckfast queens, selected for calm temperament, strong foraging ability, and natural disease resistance. Each colony is carefully managed to ensure brood health and hive balance before sale, making them suitable for both new beekeepers and those expanding existing apiaries. Their nucs are compatible with Langstroth and Flow hive setups.
