Buy Raw Fireweed Honey Direct from US Beekeepers

Buy direct from local beekeepers – no middleman, no supermarket blending.

Fireweed Honey is single-source honey made from the nectar of fireweed, the tall pink flower that colonises burned and cleared ground. It is produced across Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and the northern Rockies and is water-white and almost clear, exceptionally delicate with a tea-like finish.

Fireweed follows wildfire and logging, so the crop moves around the landscape from decade to decade. It is one of the lightest honeys produced anywhere.

Every beekeeper below sells honey from their own hives. Find one near you and buy direct.

Fireweed Honey by state

Frequently asked questions

Why is fireweed honey so pale?
Fireweed nectar produces one of the palest honeys in the world – often nearly colourless in the jar, with a correspondingly delicate flavour.
How do I know fireweed honey is genuine?
Single-source honey depends on where and when the hives were working. Buying direct from the beekeeper who produced it means you can ask exactly that – which yard it came from and when it was extracted.
Where can I buy fireweed honey near me?
Use the listings on this page, or open the Wild Beeks map and search your area. Fireweed Honey comes mainly from Alaska and the Pacific Northwest – look for a beekeeper close to you in the listings above.
