A natural log hive has been on my wishlist for a couple of years, and finally, I have the most amazing structure in my garden, erected by Steve Gibson from Reading, UK.
I was gifted the body of the hive due to a fallen tree, and Steve, with his wife, came to my house to fit the legs, roof, and cut out a base that can be opened and sealed. The hive stands about 6ft off the ground in an area that I had dowsed to ensure the perfect spot for a feral colony. The husband and wife team worked diligently with a huge attention to detail and safety. My alien structure was up within 3 hours.
